These t-shirts are being sold at Lactivist on behalf of shirts being sold on behalf of ''Up Front' Breastfeeding Groups, and Real Baby Milk.org.
UpFront are a group of mums in North Cornwall who have been trained to support other
mums with breastfeeding their babies. They are trying to find new ways of keeping
our group activities going, and making a t shirt is our latest effort. They
wanted to celebrate breastfeeding and reflect surfing culture too.
All proceeds
go towards supporting pregnant and breastfeeding mums in their community to
make an informed choice about how to feed their babies, and to breastfeed for
as long as they want to.
UpFront say
"We are the mums from Up Front
Launceston. Together we run two breastfeeding groups in our town. We aim to
provide mum to mum support and encouragement, access to up to date evidence
based information about infant feeding and plenty of tea, coffee and snacks.
Our aims are to help enable mums in our towm to breastfeed for as long as they
want to, however long or short a time that is, and to help to make
breastfeeding normal in our town. We are always looking for ways to make
ourselves more sustainable and selling t shirts is one such venture."
The t-shirts are pale pink and long sleeved with a round neck.
